The Filmpalast group has 14 locations nationwide and the cinema doctors were invited to visit the Capitol in Schwerin. The cinema, ideally located in the city center, awaited us with six individually designed halls and, despite its size, a very dense and personal atmosphere. At the heart of the cinema is an impressive historic cinema hall from the 1920s, which impresses with its special color scheme and is sure to delight cinema lovers.
The cinema shows one hall almost exclusively with arthouse films; senior cinema and cinema for first-time filmmakers are also an integral part of the canon, as are alternative content and live events.
The visit was the cinema doctors' first to a multiplex and it was more than gratifying to learn that the audit also works successfully in such a large cinema and was able to provide the basis for an inspiring day with Pascal Hufsky, Head of Operations and theatre manager Tim Harneit.
